Add your appliances and see an estimated daily and monthly electricity cost, broken down by device.
Add your appliances and click Calculate to see your estimated electricity cost
This electricity bill calculator estimates your daily and monthly electricity cost by adding up the energy usage of each appliance in your home — its wattage, how many hours a day it runs, and how many of that appliance you have. It's built for anyone who wants to understand where their electricity bill comes from, spot which appliances cost the most to run, or estimate the cost impact of adding a new device.
For each appliance, the calculator computes daily energy use in kilowatt-hours as Wattage × Quantity × Hours per Day ÷ 1000. It sums the daily kWh across every appliance you've added, multiplies by 30 to get an estimated monthly kWh figure, and multiplies that by your electricity rate per kWh (in your chosen currency) to get the total monthly cost. Each appliance's individual daily and monthly kWh and cost are shown in the breakdown table so you can see which devices contribute the most.
Electricity bills can be confusing because usage isn't itemized by device on most statements. Breaking usage down by appliance — refrigerator, air conditioner, water heater, and so on — makes it easy to spot the biggest contributors and estimate potential savings from running high-wattage appliances less often or upgrading to more efficient models.
